My characters are impossible to edit whenever I try to edit my character it just stays as Steve. All of my other skins have turned into Steve as well. This does fix itself when I log out and join another world. This also affects all the other players as well.

Steps to reproduce:

• Download a resource and/or behavior pack
• Create a new world and load the pack(s)
• Make sure you have your character appearance chosen as your skin

Alternate way:

• Enable a certain global resource pack
• Join a multiplayer server
