Nintendo Switch
This issue has started long before the 1.16 update and has persisted through deleting both software and saved data and reinstalling. And it has been repeated on both online and offline users. I will later list accompanying bugs in case they are related.
I create both random and keyword generated worlds. I can't tell whether my problem started before I generated a world with a keyword instead of a number or not. It is being experienced by a friend of mine as well on a different Nintendo Switch. Both of these types of worlds have the same problem. When I generate a map, the "0, x, 0" coordinate always lands up in the left corner instead of the center. The top left coordinate of the map seems to land on "-48, x, -48"
When I use the same seeds to generate a world on the windows 10 version on my PC, the zero coordinate ends up correctly in the center of the map.
This bug makes exploration a little frustrating out from the spawn point.
Other accompanying bugs and/or gripes:
-lag sends experience flying past the player at experience farms made of mob spawners. I can't tell how much experience may be lost this way
-some experience orbs follow you around and do nothing, even after quitting and coming back in
-on a console made to be portable with a sleep/suspend mode, going to sleep breaks the game, disconnects you from your microsoft account and doesn't reconnect you until you exit and restart the app
-I cannot play split screen multiplayer with a map generated by a logged in Nintendo user, which means I cannot play couch coop on my maps I've started on my user. This is disheartening. If I am signed in and connect a second controller, and log in the second player with a non-Nintendo Online user, it tells me I need to toggle the "multiplayer box" in the game settings to off, which the menu does not allow me to do in my signed-in NintendoOnline user. I want my couch buddies(read: children too young to have an online account) to be able to play with me, the accound holder.
-closing the software freezes the switch for a period of time ranging from seconds to minutes to seemingly forever without a restart
-when I am away from wifi, my profile character will not load. I want to play with the character I have designed when I am offline too.
I apologize for the extent of my list and the accompanying frustration. I should have made my comments sooner.
