Every time I am done typing something down on a sign and command block it lags like crazy.

when playing Switch edition typing is done by a keyboard popping up on the screen. I would type what I need to type then click done. however after that the game lags so much for about 10 seconds. it lags so much that I can't move my character or do anything. when finished typing stuff I always put down my Switch and wait for the game to stop lagging
