The lag gets insane randomly. The amount of lag that can happen makes the game unplayable. It is not during a TNT explosion or an area with a whole lot of mobs. There is usally no lag but terrible lag at random times.

It happens on iOS. I was in a village. Just play the game for some time and notice a random lag spike. You can try it at different render distances too.
