I've been having some issues with piglins & nether portals since Nether update release while playing on my friend's realm. When leaving a portal (when I was actually killed I had already left it though, took the first hit while inside it in the overworld and the other one a few blocks away in the overworld), a piglin killed me, with hits of 8 hearts of damage (despite wearing enchanted diamond boots and helmet + netherite leggings). Upon returning to the area about 30 seconds after being killed, some of my stuff had disappeared. I was able to retrieve almost everything I'd had on me when I died apart from my armour (but my elytra was still there). The area had been rendered for far less than the time for stuff to despawn, and there was noone else on the realm at the time. When I'd entered the portal, I had just killed a band of piglins, so there were none in the area. After returning to the nether after I died (I went through it to get to where I'd died from my base) there was a band a piglins in the area, but none were wearing my armour, and they hadn't had a clean line of fire to the portal where I died (it was enclosed in a wall so they couldn't have hit me there). From what happened, it seems like there was a piglin in the portal which picked up my armour, but didn't exist in the overworld or nether. The same thing happened to me yesterday (27/06) as well as today (28/06), and the previous time there wasn't any piglins in the area even after I died. This hasn't happened every time I've used a nether portal since the nether update (my guess would be about 10% of times). My friend was able to reproduce this issue in a separate world.
This was running difficulty normal/hard (not sure which exactly, but probably normal)
