I used to build such a cool redstone contraptions and my favorite one was the TNT arrow cannon. Since by the release of 'Better Together' update the TNT explosion lit by a redstone kills the arrow and I assumed it was a bug since I've noticed that a TNT lit by a flint and steel works just fine it affects arrows flight and also it didn't kill the arrow. Lastly this new update released and I liked it, I immediately check if that redstone bug thingy still exist and yeah that was fixed but now the issue is that TNT explosion is no longer affects the arrow flight, I even tested the TNT lit by the flint and steel it did the same thing. I knew it's a bug because in the Java Version, TNT explosions affects arrow flight.
