Netherite tool glitch (realm)

      When I was in a realm, I had a netherite pickaxe and sword that I carried. On an unfortunate event, I fell into a lava pool, and died. When I came back to pick up my stuff, I did not see my netherite pick and sword. Is it supposed to happen?
