I've downloaded the 1.16.0 Nether Update for Minecraft Bedrock Edition on my Xbox One X. My worlds created before this exact update (so not too old worlds) seem to not have most of the new feature. The only new additions I was able to note were new looks for the names of the items in your hot bar, and new music. That's it. I've scoured the internet for anyone with this problem and it seems brand new. I had explored new territory in my nether which I knew was absolutely unexplored - about 6, nearly 7,000 blocks out. Nothing. I even went onto creative to triple check, and found nothing.

The main menu shows that it is indeed downloaded to v1.16.0 and newly created worlds DO have all the new features. Just not the old ones. I've restarted the world, the game application itself, and the Xbox itself as well, all multiple times. Hard reset the Xbox, deleted and re-downloaded Minecraft completely, created a copy of my old world, deleted local save data on my Xbox, and fiddled all around in the settings to no avail. Nothing seems to work, which strangely leads me to believe the problem isn't on my side. But then I wonder why I haven't seen it elsewhere at all. My Xbox does not have a history of doing things like this, it works very well. However, Minecraft does have this reputation.
