My son joined my world, but during play he was signed out from another location (his mum turned on his xbox at her house), when he logged back in and rejoined the world he was not in the nether where he left his character but back at world spawn with Nothing in his inventory (including his armour he was wearing) and his enderchest was wiped clean, he also had no experience points, as if he was new to the world, this really upset him as he had collected alot of stuff from the new nether update including the hard to find ancient debris.
This is quite a viscous bug, as there is no way for him to retrieve everything he had aquired.
For the time being i urge anyone to dump all of their items into a chest or shulker and have nothing in your inventory or enderchest and wear no armour.
in the old days i could have duped stuff to replace what he has lost, but now that's not even an option, yet again minecraft destroys a lot of work (3rd time with me, not impressed).
Please find a fix for this as i know a lot of people are upset with the loss of duplicating, which i didn't mind, until this happened, and so soon after you did it, nice. (my son has decided to not play minecraft until there is a fix, and frankly i don't blame him)
