This is my first time reporting a bug for any version of Minecraft, so please bear with me if I make a mistake.

      The Short Version:

**The game started crashing upon reaching the title screen after attempted to start a free trial for Realms Plus. Logging out of my account on the Microsoft Store prior to launching the game resolves the issue. It reverts back to the consistent crashing behavior if I log in again before launching the game.

      The Details:

I wanted to set up a server so that my friends and I could play together in a world. I found the option to start a 30-day free trial of Realms Plus, so I began the process to begin the trial. Everything went as expected until I reached the "get" page (The window with a summary of what I was getting along with the options to either cancel or "get" the item). I clicked "get", and it returned me to the game, which promptly crashed without any error message. Upon re-opening the game, it would crash shortly after reaching the title screen/main menu. This was happening consistently every time I tried to open the game.

Meanwhile, the transaction for beginning my Realms trial never actually went through. I received no confirmation email, my Microsoft account showed no purchases or new subscriptions, and my linked Paypal account similarly reported nothing in regards to Realms (I later attempted to start the trial on my Android phone, which was successful, but unfortunately did not resolve the crashing issue on my desktop).

I found that by disabling my internet before opening the game, it would not crash. This is obviously not a solution considering my goal is to play online with friends. But it may help point towards the root problem.

After trying many different things (Including re-installing the game, resetting the MS Store, and restarting my PC multiple times), I had found no luck – until I decided to try logging out of my account in the Microsoft Store before opening the game. For reasons unknown to me, this worked around the issue and the game stopped crashing. I was able to play the game normally.

But when I logged back into my account in the Microsoft Store, the game reverted to the crashing behavior! I tested it multiple times both logged in and not logged in, and I am able to reproduce this behavior 100% of the time. If I am logged into the Microsoft Store before opening the game, it will crash about a second after reaching the title screen. If I am logged out before opening the game, it will work fine. For now, I am able to play the game by using this workaround. Of course, this obviously isn't intended behavior, and it's a pain having to log in and out of my account every time I wish to play Minecraft PE, so this remains an issue.

In case it could make a difference, the Microsoft account I'm using is an old Hotmail email address that has been around for a very long time, in terms of computer technology. I'm understandably uncomfortable with sharing details about my personal accounts publicly on the internet, so if a mod/dev wants to contact me for more information, please go right ahead.

From my efforts Googling this issue, it seems like this issue may have been around since late 2018 or so. Hopefully this time we can squash it for good?
