When I change it to always active, it still needs redstone. When I change it to chain or repeating, it stays imposing but appears to what I changed it to. When I put the commands in to teleport from a block to a block, it says "enchanted error" and other commands won't work.

I was trying to use effects and commands on  to make it look like it's loading, the impulsing ones that need redstone work but not any other command block.

I thought changing it to a chain command block would execute at the same time as the one right next to it, but it doesn't activate at the same time. I thought changing a block to a repeat comand block would execute a command over and over until something breakes it or stops it, but it only executes a  command once. I thought making a command block always active would make it so it doesn't need redstone, but they still need redstone.

It will look like it changed even in the command block settings but it acts like it is impulsing and it needs redstone to activate.

What I did is: 1. Go in creative and get a comand block. 2. Place one down and hit LT on it. 3. Change what type, condition, and if it needs redstone. 4. Put a command in. Sometimes the settings show that they changed but the block will still act as if you didn't change the settings. And it will appear to whatever you changed it to.
