Hi, I've been dealing with this problem for too long, so I decided I should see what some experts say. (:

When I play Minecraft, my keys don't always register my movements. It doesn't matter what world I'm on, which keys I use, or what my sensitivity is set to: I can't control how far I move. Theoretically, when pressing W once, you should move one block. However, I'm finding that every four or five times it is pressed, it pushes me as far as two or three blocks instead of one. The other thing it will do is it won't register the keystroke whatsoever, so I get stuck. This comes into play when I am sprinting as well: I'll have to double-tap W at least 3 times to sprint. I've tried lots of things to fix it: changing the sensitivity, uninstalling and reinstalling Minecraft, and changing WASD to ESDF. Every key has this issue. As far as technical issues go, I have uninstalled and reinstalled my keyboard driver multiple times, I've tried using Command Prompt, although I'm not quite sure how it works, and I've also attempted replacing the keyboard itself- that was a waste of money.

I'm sure you can imagine how frustrating this is- I've come way too close to falling off of cliffs, falling into lava, and being murdered by mass herds of mobs. I'm not sure what can be done, but it would be wonderful if somebody could help me out.

      Some Things to Know:

      • I use a Lenovo Yoga 720 Laptop- I've had it for about a year and a half.
      • I use an Cimetech mouse with a USB port
      • I've tried switching mouses and using ones with wires as well.

Please help me with your suggestions, these kingdoms aren't going to build themselves.
