After updating my game a few strange things started happening.

First of all my character and my sons character (separate profiles and saves) are constantly floating and the only way of getting back down and staying down is holding B. We're unable to eat food to replenish health and the suffocation indicator is constantly there but doesn't deplete. My son was playing in survival but changed it to creative but it was doing the same thing. my game has always been on survival but my character floats as if I'm creative.

we are both really worried because we've put a lot of time into our worlds and we would be really disappointed if there was a persistent problem that caused us to lose our progress. thank you for your time and we look forward to hearing from you
