I was at my wolrd and there was a biome of snow. So I put it to rain and the first surprise is that it wasn't snowing, it was raining on a ice plains biome. I went for the sky to see if it changed and sure the bug of raining on ice plains was out, but when I came back to the floor, that one was just missing.

Edit: okay now I see rain and snow at the same time. Thanks Minecraft.
