Seemingly random deletion of inventory items

      So far this has happened twice to me on the same world. I enter into the world over LAN and I spawned at the world spawn with no items and an empty map. This is very annoying as over the 2 glitches I have lost 2 diamond pickaxes (1 of which was enchanted) and an enchanted diamond sword. Please fix this.
