I have checked account settings and world settings to ensure that both will allow crossplay on our LAN. Both devices(a PC and an XBox One) are connected to the same network and running the most recent Bedrock version(1.14.60). Under "Multiplayer Settings", the "Visible to LAN Players" setting is turned on for each world on each device.

From my PC, I am able to join a LAN world hosted by the XBox One. There are no issues there. See the attached picture "LAN issue PC".

From the XBox One, the friends tab has a (1) on it, but there is nothing displayed as joinable. I have attempted this while both devices have been connected to the same network via wireless and via direct connection(ethernet). The XBox One did not have a paid XBox Live Gold subscription, but was connected to the local network, as well as the internet. I went ahead and purchased the XBox Live Gold subscription. The XBox One displayed what is shown in the attached image "LAN issue XBox". What I find odd is, the XBox One displays the game under Joinable Friends rather than under LAN games as it does on the PC. This leads me to believe that the XBox is joining the PC world via XBox Live and the internet rather than the LAN.

I would like to be able to join via LAN without the need for an active XBox Live Gold subscription. I logged into my router and was not able to find any settings that might prevent the XBox from doing anything over the LAN. Is there something that I'm missing?

I have not tried is connecting both devices directly to a network switch, without any connection to the internet. Could someone attempt this for me? I do not have access to a switch.

I have also not tried removing and re-downloading the game on the XBox One.

If it makes any difference, the XBox One displays the 1.14.60 hotfix summary message every single time I run the game. The PC only displayed it once and does not display it anymore after running the game.
