Minecraft is freezing on the loading screen before the title screen. Playing Minecraft isn't fun unless I can play it. It's been happening for months. It's been going on for so long I forgot which version it started showing up on.
What I expected to happen was...:
Minecraft would load and I would be able to play some of my worlds. I wouldn't be able to play on the servers/realms because of a different bug, but that should be its own report.
What actually happened was...:
It didn't go beyond the loading screen.
Steps to Reproduce
- Use an Ipad Pro 2017 (though it will probably be hard to replicate since this is a bug that doesn't let you reach the title screen) on an older version from a few months ago. Update the software to IpadOS 13.3.1
- Update the minecraft version. Again, the nature of the bug makes it unpredictable, but I'm fairly sure this is how it happened.
- The loading screen that comes before the title screen will load for a bit, pause, resume loading, and freeze when there is one bar left to load, making the game unplayable.
