Earlier today, I had been mining and came across some gold ore. I went to my furnace instantly to start smelting it, though when I did so, it would not smelt. I would try a blast furnace to blast it, but it would still not smelt. It seems that gold ore is bugged in the code of being interacted by a furnace or blast furnace as a smeltable.
