After trading with a villager I accidentally hit it, the iron golem started chasing me, and I accepted my fate. After I respawned I returned to the village to get my items and the iron golem started attacking me again! I had no choice but to kill it if I wanted my items back, knowing it would respawn eventually. A few days later I killed a few pillagers outside my house and got the bad omen, so I went to the village to do a raid. The iron golem helped me kill the pillagers, and then when we won and I got “hero of the village” it killed me again! I don’t know if I did something to permanently ruin my reputation in the village or if this is a legitimate bug, but it is incredibly annoying because I have to kill the iron golem every time I visit the village now.
