There has been a problem with smelting gold ore into gold ingots. For some reason, whenever I try to smelt gold ore in a furnace or blast furnace with any fuel source, the smelting process does not start at all. Also, iron does not do this. I think there may be something mixed up with nether gold ore and gold ore, allowing nether gold ore to be smelted, while the gold ore can't be.
