I truly apologize if this is incorrect, but my friend (on Xbox One) and I were playing and as soon as one silverfish aggro'd onto us, every other infected block in the stronghold broke and thousands of silverfish swarmed (perhaps tsunami'd is a better word) and significantly increased lag.

I may be wrong here, but we searched every tunnel in the stronghold and couldn't find a portal. That was frustrating but the silverfish issue was worse.
