Some chunks are disappearing, not just not visible, there are literally no blocks on them, all blocks were replaced with air, mobs can fall in there and die, items will fall too, i have no idea whats the pattern for this, but the missing chunks are multplying.
In the screenshot you can see a map of all the chunks that are missing at the moment.
