Pocket Edition chat is bugged?

      I was playing multiplayer MCPE with wifi. My sister said something in the chat (IOS 7 iPad 2), but on my screen(IOS 7 iPhone 4), only the first line showed. However, when you press the chat button, you can see the whole thing.

      The two photos are me using the chat in single player mode.
