World corrupted while playing Minecraft Survival Mode and continues to corrupt in backups. After our message we got from the game saying corruption, I couldn't find any corrupted terrain or missing chunks. Not finding anything corrupted never happened to us before. Rewind about half a year ago. We were making a beautiful city and the game corrupted. No backups, autosave feature defeated, and hours of work wasted. Chunks all over the world disappeared and went straight down to void. This only happens on OUR Xbox and it is most common in worlds you have played split-screen in. We need a fix ASAP before this continues and people lose just as much work as us. Our world also needs to be fixed so our backups also stop corrupting. The corruptions could be caused be rain and/or sudden power outages (Xbox unplugging or crashes). I will be attaching photos but you could probably paint the picture... To fix this you should make sure the game:
1. Uses the autosave files as a fallback world!!!!!!!!!!
2. If not, use the newest uncorrupted files for the world as a fallback.
3. And last but not least, if the game corrupts WHY DOES IT SAVE?!
