After mining with a fast diamond pick (Efficiency 4-5) in the nether on netherack I walk into the area I cleared to then get the bubble stats then start taking instant damage to my health bar. Sometimes this glitch disappears after a while but still sometimes remain in my world and it's just quite annoying to deal with especially when mining for netherite and tunnels. 

Update: After leaving the nether and then rentering I found out that the "air blocks" that I was suffocating in turns out to be ghost blocks of netherack and they return to the normal state of netherack once upon rentering the nether. Which further proves that block lag now is worse.
