When I leave the game and come back in my scores that were on my account before and removed and are put onto a new player called "player offline" with the same score I had when I left. Every time I left and came back in it added a new "player offline" with the score I had and my score is back 0 for my account.

Edit: this appears to no longer be an issue after 1.16
