Nether is bugged.

I just went to the nether and explored it for a while and i started to see weird things like glitched chunk loading and generating, 1x1 lava flying in mid-air, skeletons, zombies, spiders and creepers were spawning in certain areas (yes, in the nether) and absolutely no nether-mobs are spawning...

Why is this? And is there a way to reset the nether? Because i would love to reset the nether when the Nether-Update finally comes out
