Structure blocks allow us to export structures as .mcstructure files, which would imply that we can transfer these files to other worlds. However, this is not the case. In java, a 'structure' folder is created, but it isn't in bedrock. Java players are then able to transfer these structure files across worlds. I tried creating a structure folder and manually copying over some .mcstructure files, but structure blocks don't seem to read the folder. This really limits creating large builds across multiple maps, as we can only manipulate structures within the same world. If this bug was fixed/feature added, it would greatly help mapmakers.
