The item that the player holds is only halfway shown. I also think this might not only be a iPad mini 5th generation problem it might also be an iPad resolution problem as well please try to fix this as this has been in all versions of Minecraft pocket edition. Also I think you can make the hand move to the left so it is not that far away from the hot bar. Make the item that is being held show full. Thanks for reading this.
