I had just used the nether machine and I got melon seeds. I planted melons, one grew so I cut it down. When I pulled it up in my hot bar, it had a red background insted of black.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Plant a melon
2. After it grows chop it down
3. Look in your inventory and in your hot bar. You will see a red item background insted of a black one.
