      The bug

      /effect can apply a buggy potion effect called "empty." It does nothing, has no translation or icon, and apparently can't be removed until a relog.

      How to reproduce

      1. /effect @s regeneration 100 1 true
      2. /effect @s empty
      3. /effect @s clear
      → You're still creating particles

      Expected behavior
      Second command should be a syntax error
