Item frames on ps4 console edition could be placed in the same block space given there are two corner blocks the item frames could be placed on. On bedrock edition only one item frame can occupy any given space regardless of placement. Basically on console edition more than one item frame can be placed within one air block. On bedrock only one item frame can occupy an air block.
