Librarian villagers holding glass will make the section of their body behind of the glass invisible.

To recreate:

Spawn in a villager

Make it a librarian and level it up until it has a glass trade for an emerald.

Hold an emerald, that should make the librarian hold the glass, or swap between the glass and another enchanted book/bookshelf.
