To Recreate:

Create a nether portal in the overworld at any co-ordinate (For this example i'll use 80, 100, 80).

Go through the portal and re-align the nether side portal to it's proper location (10, 100, 10).

Go back to the overworld and set the time to night. 

Place a bed next to the portal and set your gamemode to survival. 

Finally, stand in the portal and whilst the nausea that the portal causes starts, get in the bed. 

Do not leave the portal during this manoeuvre and neither leave the bed. 

Soon after you'll appear in the nether at 80, 100, 80
