A creeper in the water was about to explode. I came close to it since Creepers can't deal damage while in the water. I was just beside it and it exploded out of the water. It dealt the normal creeper damage and I was sure I was gonna die. I didn't. A weird totem of undying kind of effect was given to me when the explosion happened which made me survive. An absorption effect had no timer and it stayed with me till I took enough damage to remove it. The only effect given to me was absorption.
