Windows
I was just building a ship on the water with blocks of black wood planks and the computer crashed without error message or bluescreen.
This happened once before in the same world yesterday.
After rebooting the Windows Event Viewer just told me that the computer wasn't shut down properly - no other clues regarding the crash.
This never happened with other worlds and never before the Update to 1.14.1 which was installed on December 19th.
Before we only had some occasional minor game crashes ... we just started the game again and everything was fine.
We deleted the world that was used before the crashes and uninstalled and re-installed Minecraft 10 for Windows 10.
We hope that the crashes won't happen again.
Further Information:
I ran sfc, dism and the memory diagnostic tool - no problems were found. In the device manager no hardware problems are listed.
My son is now playing in a new world for 1 hour and everything seems fine. The last two crashes happened after 30 minutes (today) and after 90 minutes (yesterday). So he has to play some more to reach the 90 minutes threshold.
If the problem happens again ... I will make sure to attach the new world we created so you can try and reproduce the problem.
We finished after 2 hours of playing and no crash yet. We will try again in the next few days and I hope the problem is resolved with the measures I took. If not I will write back in this post.
