I have an enderman farm in the end with a spawn platform and a series of burning netherrack platforms, I use dispensers and water to force enderman away from the spawning platform and I set up a simple hopper clock to activate and deactivate the water over and over, I find that every time I ender the end one of the pistons dissapeares, this is just a regular singleplayer world and I cant really be sure if it dissapeares when I leave the end or return. It really doesnt make all that much sense to me since the chunks would be unloaded anyway when I enter the end on account of the farm being a decent distance from spawn, however the piston won't dissapear if I unload and reload the chunks, say go very far away and come back or leave the world and come back. Its specifically the piston that is not extended. (The photo displaying two pistons shows what the clock is supposed to look like)
Update: I closed and reopened the world and the piston head got stuck seemingly inside the redstone block (see pictures) when I broke the redstone block the piston disappeared again with no drop.
