      Steps to Reproduce:

      1. Launch Minecraft
      2. Select any area where you can input text (e.g. signs, crafting recipe search, anvil rename, in-game chat, creating world name, input for realm join code)
      3. Switch to any chinese/korean/japanese IME - you can type normally
      4. Switch to another window/application
      5. Switch back to Minecraft -> you can no longer type chinese/korean/japanese, only latin characters will appear

      Workaround:
Select the input for a placed crafting table, or the expanded command input for the command block. The input will return to normal. You may need to deselect and reselect this a few times.
The issue will still occur if you again switch to another window/application
