I have tried literally everything I can think of, searched youtube/internet, NOTHING!

ISSUE: Lava will kill entities but not players in survival mode and regardless of difficulty settings.

this became an issue that was noticed after much work was done in my realm world. My backups from September the Lava works as intended as stated much work has been done by me and friends since then and I don't want to lose that work by reverting back to that backup. When i download and try to configure settings and play out of realms the lava still does not work properly unless I go back to a two month old download save from realms.

Is there a way to get the lava to work properly and has anyone else experienced this issue?

On other players worlds, realms and even new worlds of my own the lava works fine.

Update: updated to 1.14 12/12 same thing
