I'll do my best to explain it, I wanted to play the Switch release of Minecraft out of boredom, and as I opened the game, while the console was loading it, my controllers bottom lights went out and each time I pressed one of the buttons, the lights would flicker indicating it was trying to connect to the console, it would however fail to do so, albeit it would make the vibrating feeling thinking it had connected successfully. For clarification, I did open up the controller the night before this happened to help fix some drifting in the right stick. I've looked to restarting the console, redownloading the game, resyncing the controller, etc. The only thing I haven't tried is a full system wipe, I wouldn't mind doing that but I don't have an sd card reader on me. And to make it clear, it works fine with other games and software on the console, it's just Minecraft that is having this issue. However I notice hours later when I went to just use the Joy Cons, it detected my controller immediately as the second player. It worked flawlessly, as I put the Joy Cons back into the console, the controller seemingly "died" and wasn't being picked up by the game or system at all like earlier. I'm not entirely sure what happened, but I'd love either an explanation or a fix. I'm not blaming anyone for this at all nor do I know if other people are having this issue.
