I recently created a realm and every time I load it for the first time it asks if I want to download a texture pack. There is one texture pack assigned as a Global Resource for my realm - the City Texture Pack by Microsoft that I already have installed as a Global Reaource within Minecraft and works fine in my other Worlds.
I am given the option to download a new texture pack when I go to join my realm or to leave. If I select to download, it adds the PureBDCraft texture pack out of nowhere.
Before downloading this does not appear in any of the Resource menus (realm settings nor main game settings). After I download it is added to my realm settings but NOT my global game resource packs. It can be found under the Storage option as Cached Data.
I have tried every combination of deleting packs, removing cached data, resetting the world, downloading > editing > replacing world, even uninstalling and reinstalling the game. After I delete it each time and then join my realm the next time it will ask me to download the texture pack again.
this only seems to happen when the City Texture Pack is enabled. I’ve disabled it and used other packs and it does not download anything additional or add the PureBDCraft pack.
Two other notes of interest - 1. I have NEVER downloaded PureBDCraft before this. 2. When I download the realm and look in the Global Resources, the texture pack is not there, even though under Global Resources within the realm that it was downloaded from it is present.
How can I get rid of this god awful texture pack and just use City Texture?????
