1.13 chat not working as intended

      After the 1.13 update my chat has the new color Chang box on the top right of my screen as soon as I open chat up. But it's not just 1 there is like 3 or 4 that I can't close so intern I also can't close chat. I'm having to keep resting my minecraft.
