In the most current beta for bedrock there is an issue that allows mobs to spawn In places they shouldn't. One mob affected is the stray cats that spawn in villages. Many of them will simply spawn inside the grass path blocks and since it is not a full block they cannot die so they stay there until the path block is broken. This issue also happens with slabs as I have experienced cat spawns under the floor of my house (which is brick slabs). This is just a small annoying bug that can be easily fixed (I presume) so thank you.
(Ps. Not only happening with cats mobs smaller than a block like baby mobs can get stuck)
