The problem I have encountered here has occurred when I first spawned in the world.

I as well as a multitude of mobs have spawned on this island, there was nothing out of the ordinary when I saw that some of the cows that have spawned with me were one block deep in the ground.

I am not quite sure if there are other mobs bellow that threshold of one block
