      Hello Mojang,

I would like to report a possible bug with the generation of abandoned mineshafts. I have observed this while playing Minecraft: Bedrock Edition for the Xbox One. This was discovered using several world seeds, but I will only use one world for my explanation.

Throughout the world I am currently surviving in, I have stumbled upon several abandoned mineshafts whose generation may be incomplete.

To elaborate, there are tunnels that either lack generated support beams and crossings, or such generation of them is only partially complete (in this instance, anything that touches an air block above it fails to generate).

I have determined that this typically happens where the mineshafts intersect with ravines or caverns. The consequential intersection results in one of the following two outcomes:

      A) The wooden bridges and cobwebs do generate, but the support beams and crossing pillars do not.

(NOTE: This can even happen within random, isolated tunnels of the mineshaft)

      B) The said cave system or ravine can shred apart the wooden bridges upon generation or cancel out the generation completely. This results in the mineshaft being torn in half by several blocks.

I am asking you to fix or explain this issue. If I am missing insight that may be relevant to this topic of discussion, please let me know.

I've attached some screenshots as examples down below. These are examples of the listed events within this report, and all taken from a single mineshaft in the generated world.

Thank you, and have a good day.
