The bug
When clicking on the side of a block with support above and below, a lantern is supposed to connect to the nearer support. However, it always chooses to connect downward.
If only one support is available, it works fine.
How to reproduce
- Build this setup
- Place the lantern by aiming at the yellow region (specifically, place it while looking above the horizon)
Expected results: Lantern is placed hanging, connected to the block above
Actual results: Lantern is placed on the block below
