When a skeleton shoots or a drowned throws the trident you cannot hear the sound.
You can reproduce it by following the steps:
- Create world in creative mode.
- Summon a skeleton or drowned.
- Go into survival mode and you can only hear the arrow or the trident's hitting sound when land into the ground or the player but there is no shooting/throwing sund.
There is a fix for that: This bug caused by no sound definitions for these in the sounds.json in the vanilla resourcepack.
- You need a sound definition to the skeleton shoot sound by putting a "shoot": "random.bow"
- You need a sound definition to the drowned shoot sound by putting a "shoot": "item.trident.throw"
