The cartridge will not read, presumably due to corruption.

I was playing in a world with my siblings and player 2 left the game and immediately afterward player 1 chose the save and quit option and an error screen appeared before the console returned to the home menu, then it proceeded to inform us that corrupt data was present. It then it searched for corrupt data, could not find any, but our Minecraft cartridge will not read, while our other cartridges do. Our cartridge is clean, with no physical abnormalities, and our Switch is not damaged. I can only think that 1.12 corrupted our cartridge (we have not hacked our Switch, or installed mods on Minecraft or our other games.) to the point where it is unplayable.
