While playing on a creative minecraft realms server, tapping a chest creates no sound

What I expected to happen was...
The chest would create opening sound after tapping on it

What actually happened was...:
The chest opened but made no sound

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Join a minecraft realms server(in creative mode)
2. Place a chest
3. To on the chest

Result
The chest opens visually, but doesn't make the noise an opened chest should make.
