If you throw a Trident and enter another dimension, then reenter you will never be able to load the dimension you threw the Trident in again. Therefore not allowing the player to play.

Throw a loyalty Trident in the Overworld

Before it comes back to you, enter another dimension

Try joining the Overworld again

You'll see, you can't get past the "Rendering World" screen
